As I am working my way through residency, I'm finding that clinic is really quite enjoyable. I realize that I run behind, often time due to the fact that I check out every patient with an attending. This gives me great hope or my clinic duties in the future. I just might be able to do "clinic only" work in the future.

I've been sick for months, it seems. I can't decide if it is me working at the hospital or my daughter going to school that is the underlying cause. Since I wash my hands about 30 times a dy in the hospital, it probably is my firstborn.

If you wrongfully page me to report a patient's status change and I inform you that I'm not on-call (and I refer you to the doctor that is) I think it bad form to document that you called me and I didn't give any orders.
